Cheap computer more popular in global economic crisis
Global economy continues to go mad. Other effect seems like the people more hunt cheap computer than the expensive computer. This trend has happened in order to save consumers money.
According to the IDC Worldwide Quarterly PC Tracker, which it quoted official information through the sale of Intel computers, including desktop and portable type of worldwide decline of 7.1 percent from first quarter 2008. But there it is still better when compared with analyst estimates that as much prediction down 8.2 percent.
Sales of desktop has decline faster than expected, especially in China which is the largest market share for portable computers.
However, in this crisis situation, Intel suggested that consumers would prefer to renew or buy a new computer. This recommendation is intended primarily for the company.
Intel said, with the update the computer or just buy a new consumer economy has been doing great and provide more benefits rather than maintaining the old computer.
In response to a decrease in the sale of this computer, such as the President and announced that Intel Corporation CEO Paul Otellini on Intel earnings April 14, they are not sure when growth will return as they are. But the signs that the computer segment of the market decline, Intel hopes this year on the situation can return to normal.
