INQ Twitter Phone
UK mobile phone vendor, INQ plans to release a special mobile phone for twitter user. This issue will be release end of the year 2009.
“We make the phone only want to give to the user ease of Twitter. Similar to what we’ve done to the user’s Facebook and Skype,” said CEO of INQ Frank Meehan, as quoted through CNET, Thursday (6/8/2009).
Before creating this plan, INQ had launched its own mobile phone Skype and Facebook. Facebook phone INQ1 win the 2009 Global Mobile Award for Best Mobile Handset.
At the time, INQ1 features compatible to connect with Facebook, Skype, Yahoo, Google, eBay and a built-in Windows Messenger. In addition, INQ1 technology also supports Java and Brew applications so that other social networks such as MySpace, can be added. No wonder if the INQ1 called as the social networking phone.
Since launched, INQ1 provide increased significant traffic to the operator support, 3 UK. In the year 2007, the mobile social networking has sold more than 700,000 units.
Unfortunately, not yet known definitely whether the Twitter phone given name INQ2 or not. However, the obvious, this device will make Twitter user can tweet for free. Later, this mobile Twitter will pack with a local operator as much USD140.
